The last review in 2021 awarded FRAMO 99.8% out of a total score of 100%.

Framo Romania is a poultry company at the feet of the Carpathian, its facilities are located on an aerea of 140.000 sqm, right in the surrounding of Gurghiu, Judetul Mures, in the deep heart of Transylvania. Cluj Napoca Airport is 100 km away, Tirgu Mures Airport and city is 30 km away.
It was founded in 1999 by the Italian entrepreneur Manuele Morini who has been working in the European poultry and pharmaceutical business all his life. Seeking the fast growing Romanian opportunities, Manuele Morini took full involvement in the company in 2017 by becoming the administrator.

Products and the market
The two principal products are: fresh eggs and 16 weeks old pullets.
The high quality reputation for the pullets production, since the early 2000, is one of the major company’s strength that brought FRAMO to cover a leadership position in the Romanian market. It allows the company to practice a higher price politics, in comparison to the competitors, and makes FRAMO the actual market bench-marker. Clients and customers loyalty is another strength, as matter of fact, any production increase is immediately absorbed by the market even at premium price. Pullets are mostly sold to other eggs’ producers and a smaller portion to the rural market.
Regarding the eggs business Framo was the first company to obtain European high quality standards certification in Romania therefore the eggs are sold in the Large Distribution clients, FRAMO products continuously undergo quality audit, moreover this implies that the Company has to comply with the highest sanitary food standards. Reputation of serious and reliable eggs producers brought, since 2012, to support FRAMO growth. Packaging and market are actually developed together in order to meet all logistics needs.
The history of FRAMO Romania
1999
Takeover Farms
In 1999, FRAMO opens its activity, acquiring the platform and halls of the former agricultural cooperative in Gurghiu.
2012
Development Partnerships
In 2012, the modernization of the first 5 chicken and egg production halls is completed, and the partnership is signed.
2018
Continuous Investments
In 2018, the investments continue and the modernization of 3 more production halls is completed, raising the number to 8 renovated functional halls.
2020
Capacities Increase
The year 2020 brings the completion of investments in increasing the production capacity to 63,500,000 eggs per year and 12 halls completely renovated to the market standards.
