IFS (International Food Standards) annually certifies the processes and production of FRAMO ROMANIA, and our company has always obtained percentages of over 99%.
The last review in 2021 awarded FRAMO 99.8% out of a total score of 100%.

FRAMO ROMANIA wants to became the leader in the production of genuine food ethically sustainable, keeping as priority transparency and traceability of its process together with the product highest quality, process and cost efficiency in respect to the environment, the animal wellbeing, in order to deliver to the consumer a safe product.
Framo Romania is a poultry company at the feet of the Carpathian, its facilities are located on an aerea of 140.000 sqm, right in the surrounding of Gurghiu, Judetul Mures, in the deep heart of Transylvania. Cluj Napoca Airport is 100 km away, Tirgu Mures Airport and city is 30 km away.
It was founded in 1999 by the Italian entrepreneur Manuele Morini who has been working in the European poultry and pharmaceutical business all his life. Seeking the fast growing Romanian opportunities, Manuele Morini took full involvement in the company in 2017 by becoming the administrator.

1999
Takeover Farms
In 1999, FRAMO opens its activity, acquiring the platform and halls of the former agricultural cooperative in Gurghiu.
2012
Development Partnerships
In 2012, the modernization of the first 5 chicken and egg production halls is completed, and the partnership is signed.
2018
Continuous Investments
In 2018, the investments continue and the modernization of 3 more production halls is completed, raising the number to 8 renovated functional halls.
2020
Capacities Increase
The year 2020 brings the completion of investments in increasing the production capacity to 63,500,000 eggs per year and 12 halls completely renovated to the market standards.
Technology
The choice of the top technologies means: higher efficiency, quality and care for the workers. The eggs selection center has MOBA equipment, best available technology and high level of technical assistance, very important to prevent any process delay.
Incoming feed has its own monitoring system, but this year the system has been widened to all chicken houses regarding water, food, ventilation and any element that could interfere with the health of the animals.
